This activity focuses on Visual Discrimination

2. Silhouette matching cards
A level up for Visual Discrimination. Used with clothespins it adds a fine motor challenge to it

3. Rainbow Dot Activities
This activity focuses on hand eye coordination with a color matching component that can be targeted as the child shows interest in this activity
(color matching average milestone is 30 months, but it can start at 18 in some children)

4. Coin Size Sorting
This activity has two levels, and introduces the concepts of Big and Small (and Big, Medium & Small) as the child sorts the coins in each pot

5. Cutting practice
9 pages of cutting strips and shapes to practice cutting at your child’s current level

6. Make a Quilt

This activity based on the Irish tradition of quilting can be used in different ways:

a. Gluing only: This will help to practice one to one correspondence which is preparation for math.

b. Cutting and gluing: Cutting can be added once the child has started with this skill

c. Pattern making: There are different quilt examples (from easier to more complicated). As the child tries to replicate them they work on their memory and pattern recognition.
